just returned from the gathering in Kintail. A wonderful experience made all the more pleasurable by the friendliness of everyone who attended from around the world & the hard work of the local committee. The memory of the dinner in the Castle is something I will treasure for the rest of my life.
The emotional service at Clachan Duich, was very well conducted by The Venerable Robert D MacRae,D.D.,the high point for myself being the lament played from the top of the hill during the wreath laying ceremony.
Frances and I would like to wish all our new friends from across the world a safe journey home & remember
No matter how far you travel..no matter how far you roam ..you'll aye be close to Scotland you'll aye be close to Home!
