Rachel McRae b1792, d1868, is my 3rd great-grandmother. She married Farquhar McCrimmon (MacCrimmon) just a year before they also left on the Eliza for Canada in 1815. I found this site while trying to find which of the ships in that convoy my 3rd great-grandfather Alexander Fraser b.1806 d.1885 was on. His daughter Isabella married Farquhar's son Roderick McCrimmon.
I have the impression that the immigrants took another ship from Quebec to Montreal. Anybody hear something about that leg of the journey?

Hi James.
Your family and mine have a few connections .Your Farquhar's brother Patrick married Christian MacRae and his sister Catherine Ann Married Archibald MacRae .They all came over on the Eliza to Quebec City, then came up the StLaurence to the Lancaster Cornwall Area where they spent the winter . The next spring they went to their lots in locheil and West Hawkesbury. When sorting MacRaes I did your family down to John, Ellen, Mary and Rachel . Are you a descendent of one of these?
